India2Germany provides practical guidance and information about studying, working, and settling in Germany, aimed primarily at people relocating from India. All content is provided for general information purposes only.

The content does not constitute legal, immigration, visa, tax, financial, medical, career, or any other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or the relevant authority. Laws, official procedures, fees, and requirements change frequently and vary by individual circumstances and federal state. Always verify any information with the competent official authority or a qualified adviser before acting on it. We make no warranty that any information is current, complete, or accurate, and we accept no liability for decisions you make based on it (see Section 7).

Statutory liability is governed by German law and is not limited or excluded for: damages arising from injury to life, body, or health caused by our breach of duty; damages caused by our intent or gross negligence; or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. For slight negligence, we are only liable where we breach a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht), and in that case our liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damage. Any further liability is excluded.

Where you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. Where permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is our registered place of business.
